The Carthusian Monastery founded by Borso d'Este in 1460 in Ferrara is a splendid space in the northern area of the town,

within the city walls, that during the Napoleonic period was transformed in a monumental Catholic cemetery for the city.

During this virtual tour we will visit the interior of the beautiful Church of Saint Christopher and the graveyard

that hosts some important tombs of famous artists, painters, poets, musicians

and, above all, many significant samples of 19th century's sculpture: romantic, poignant, touching!
